Virtual & In-Person Speaker Coaching

Over the past twenty years as a professional speaker and speaking coach in high-demand, I can help you transform the way you approach public speaking so you learn to love it and truly excel at it!

Every speaker needs a speaking coach.

HERE ARE A FEW REASONS WHY:

Because it's hard to know how you're really doing. Your friends and loved ones can give you feedback, but often it's conflicting feedback; or it's feedback that's not grounded in what really works onstage; OR they care about you too much to tell you the awkward truth.

Because when you've prepped your talk and it isn't feeling quite right, it's hard to know what to fix because you're simply too close to the material. This is a scary place to be—especially alone—because when you don't know how make your talk better, your mind goes bonkers with your worst fears of bombing on stage.

Because many of my clients have backed into public speaking—it's not something they ever truly desired for themselves but their careers have made it necessary—and they feel totally out of their element (despite being impressively accomplished in other areas of their lives).

Hi, I'm Sally!

I've spent the last 20 years coaching speakers, leaders, entrepreneurs, authors, and changemakers to become more compelling and authentic speakers. My goal is not to make you “perfect” – but to help you connect and engage with more confidence and clarity because that is what will move your audience.

Giving caring and honest feedback is my specialty. I help speakers go from good to great. From petrified to powerful—with time-tested skill-building exercises and insights that help my clients learn to trust themselves with newfound confidence when they step into the spotlight!

Virtual-Coaching-Monthly-Coaching.jpg

For speakers preparing for specific events.

If you're creating your 'signature’ talk or getting ready for a specific presentation, monthly coaching is a powerful way to prepare.

Whether you need to start from scratch or have a draft you want finessed for optimized delivery—monthly coaching will take you from here to the finish line.

Most of my clients start with a two-month “sprint”, though we can continue as long as you need.

Typically, the process of creating, developing, and delivering a signature talk from beginning to end takes between two to three months. But I’ve also worked with speakers for 6+ months, depending on their needs.

Monthly coaching includes four weekly sessions. It also includes pre and post-coaching surveys and feedback to assess your development, translate results for future presentations, and celebrate successes and progress!

Investment // $1500 per month

Consider me your personal trainer—to help you transform into a strong, confident, and truly engaging speaker.

If you're creating your 'signature’ talk or getting ready for a specific presentation, monthly in-person coaching is a powerful way to prepare.

Whether you need to start from scratch or have a draft you want finessed for optimized delivery—monthly coaching will take you from here to the finish line.

Most of my in-person coaching clients hire me for a minimum of two to three months, because learning how to feel confident in your speaker shoes takes time and practice and support and feedback and content iterations and...(you get the picture).

Monthly speaker coaching includes four weekly sessions. In between sessions you'll also receive email support (for questions that arise) and assistance editing your content (we'll do this virtually). I'll help you develop your content so you feel crystal clear about your message and give you personalized guidance and feedback so you feel excited and truly ready to take the stage! Our work together will also include pre and post-coaching surveys and feedback to assess your development, translate presentation results for future talks, and celebrate successes and progress!

You need a speaking coach with the right approach (for your needs and personality).

Here's what you can expect during your speaker coaching journey, whether we work together virtually or in-person:

1 // WE WON'T REHEARSE

I don't believe in memorizing and rehearsing. Instead, we'll practice. I'm going to "stumble through" your talks with you and this makes a big difference because it opens the space for us to play and for your courage to unfold organically. By stumbling with me by your side, you're going to learn in ways that feel natural and become part of your DNA. Your confidence as a speaker will take root and become stronger with each session.

2 // I'LL GET TO KNOW YOU

Trust is everything. Before we do anything, we’re going to hang out. Connect. Talk.

I can best help you when I know who are you and what's important to you.

As your coach, I want to make sure that YOU are the core of you work. To pull out your authentic voice, I need to know you, so before we dive into making improvements, we’re going to dive into you.

3 // I'M NOT GOING TO JUDGE YOU

One of the scariest things about public speaking is the feeling of being judged. And hiring a speaking coach may feel like you're signing up for a great big judge-a-thon.

That's not how this works.

Here’s the deal: You start with an A from me. You're great, just as you are. If there’s room for improvement—it’s not because you're lacking. It's simply because you haven't a learned a few things that can help you better connect and dazzle!

The gap everyone has in their ability to be a great speaker is simple. It's confidence.

Whatever you believe about yourself is your reality.

My job as your coach is to turn up the volume on your actual confidence. I'll do this by showing you. Your newfound confidence will be built upon a foundation of truth, data, and proof—so it will be real instead of a temporary shiny mask (that will eventually lose its power).
