029: Paul Tomes - On Being a 4:3 Person in a 16:9 World

Paul Tomes is back! Maybe you remember him from his previous episode on This Moved Me - On Avoiding Presentation Karaoke. He is a gem, and threw out an idea for another conversation.  I'm always excited to chat with Paul!

In this episode of This Moved Me, Paul brought to the table the idea of being a 4:3 person living in a 16:9 world. Intriguing! What does he mean by that?  Well, we dive into it here.

AND...

Paul shared a wonderful story about a firefighter who, in the midst of the recent wild fires in Cape Town, when interviewed - instead of telling a summary of what was going on, he told a story.  We are trying to track down this clip - but in the meantime, here are some pictures of some firefighters working this fire:

Let's keep this conversation going:

Do you struggle with living in a 16:9 world? Do you know people who refuse to shift out of 4:3 thinking?  I'd love to know in the comments, or let me know on Twitter.
