018: Bree Noble - On Sharing Your Story

Bree Noble is a mom, entrepreneur, musician and speaker. Her music was her main form of expression; but then she realized that to really connect with her audience, she needed to tell her story more.

In this episode of This Moved Me, Bree and I talk about her career arc - as a speaker, musician, podcast host and entrepreneur... but at the core of it is Bree's story that comes from her own struggle with Glaucoma: she shares her story because, though it's hard, it's what has helped her grow her audience.

SALLY:

Highly recommend the book Me Before You, by Jojo Moyes. Sad, thoughtful and ultimately uplifting.

BREE:

A beautiful moment with her daughter playing music in their Christmas musical. One of those quintessential parenting moments.  And, Bree and her older daughter played a duet; watching her daughter overcome her stage fright and play together!

Here's a link to a video, if you want to hear a beautiful duet between Bree and her daughter.

(Kids taking performance risks always moves me!)
